Duplex Addition
This client had an empty former office space adjacent to an existing apartment with no access to laundry. We designed a new space, using the empty office space to provide separated laundry for the newly created duplex. Seen here is the completed addition, designed to allow wheelchair access to every room, with spacious bathroom and deep soaking tub. Open concept was a must, allowing for ease of movement and varietal furniture placement.
Major Exterior Upgrades
Our client had a laundry list of upgrades and repairs to do to this recently acquired rental unit.
Repairs included:
- Rebuilding and refacing a failing block wall with Genstone faux stone
- Repairing dozens of perforations through the exterior, including several large areas of rot in the siding and underlying framing
- Replacing long stretches of rotten fascia
- Stripped dilapidated decking and repaired, shored up underlying deck system
- Completely replaced two rotting chimney facade framing and sheathing and refaced with Genstone faux stone
