This was an emergency move-in situation with a severe water and pet damage issue throughout two bedrooms.
The owner opted for a uniform flooring, so we removed 2 layers of soaked particle board underlayment and carpet, then repaired damaged subfloor before moving on to the glow up.
After installing new underlayment, we installed a beautiful LVP in a herringbone pattern, connecting both bedrooms and the hallway in-between.
Drywall repair was necessary at several locations due to pet damage and moisture wicking, followed by repairing two door jambs and finishing off the new flooring with fresh trim.
Our Client opted to leave closet door replacement for anther time, as all work was taking place as the family was moving in, and all doors were custom sizes.
The resulting space was welcoming and clean, ready for each room to get a fresh coat of their preferred color.
We always strive to make these types of surprises seamless and smooth for our clients, and this was no exception. Each stage was completed as quickly as possible. We moved furniture from on side of the room to the other multiple times to get this done, leaving each family member with a functional space at the end of the day.
